Any pigments and fillers which may be listed under "hazardous materials" are potentially hazardous ONLY if inhaled as an air borne just.  Exposure by these materials as used in Dolphin’s sealants, putties, bedding, compounds, and other non-sprayable products, is highly unlikely.

ROUTE OF ENTRY
Inhalation, Dermal
EFFECTS OF ACUTE EXPOSURE

May cause irritation of eyes, skin, and/or breathing passages. May be harmful if swallowed.   May be harmful if inhaled. Overexposure may cause dizziness, headache, nausea, or loss of coordination.

EFFECTS OF CHRONIC EXPOSURE

Reports have associated repeated and prolonged occupational overexposure to solvents with permanent brain and nervous system damage. Intentional misuse by deliberately concentrating and inhaling the contents of this product is harmful, may cause unconsciousness, and at extremely high concentration may be fatal. Intentional misuse by deliberate inhalation and chronic overexposure may cause liver and / or kidney damage.

MEDICAL CONDITIONS AGGRAVATED BY EXPOSURE
Preexisting eye, skin, and respiratory disorders may be aggravated by exposure to this product.
EMERGENCY AND FIRST AID PROCEDURES INHALATION
Remove to fresh air. If symptoms of exposure develop, get medical attention.
DERMAL
Wash with soap and water. Get medical attention if necessary.
INGESTION
Do not give water or milk. DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING. Call poison control center and get medical attention immediately.
EYE
Flush with water for 15 minute. Get medical attention if irritation develops.

INCOMPATIBILITY (MATERIALS TO AVOID)
         Strong oxidizing agents.
HAZARDOUS COMBUSTION OR DECOMPOSITION PRODUCTS
Carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide and possibly small amounts of other asphyxiants.

SECTION VII - SPILL OR LEAK PROCEDURES

STEPS TO BE TAKEN IN CASE OF RELEASE OR SPILL

For small spills, avoid breathing of vapors and shovel up. For large spills extinguish or remove all ignition sources, wear rubber gloves and an NIOSHA/MSHA approved respirator for organic vapors, then shovel up.

Use caution when shoveling to avoid creating a spark.  For maximum safety a shovel made of a non-sparking, conductive material is recommended.  Plastic or other non-conductive materials should not be used because of their tendency to accumulate a static charge. Place residue into D.O.T approved waste containers.

WASTE DISPOSAL METHOD
Dispose in accordance with local, state and federal regulations including compliance with all regulations on spill reporting. Keep waste out of sewers, storm drains and surface waters.

SECTION VIII - SAFE HANDLING AND USE INFORMATION

VENTILATION

Good general ventilation (typically ten air changes per hour).  When applicable, sufficient ventilation, in volume and pattern should be provided to control vapors and (where applicable) to keep air contaminants below exposure limits.

RESPIRATORY PROTECTION
An appropriate NIOSH-approved respirator for organic vapor should be worn if needed.

EYE PROTECTION

Safety glasses with side shields (or goggles) are recommended for any type of industrial operation.   It is generally recognized that contact lenses should not be when working with chemicals because contact lenses may contribute to the severity of an eye injury.

SKIN PROTECTION
Impervious gloves.

SECTION IV - SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS

HANDLING AND STORAGE PRECAUTIONS
Store in a cool, dry area out of direct sunlight. Do not store or use near heat, sparks, or a flame. If product is supplied in pails or drums, keep closure tight and container upright to prevent leakage.Do not handle until the manufacturers safety precautions have been read and understood.
OTHER PRECAUTIONS

Use this product with adequate ventilation. Avoid prolonged or repeated breathing of vapors. Do not use in confined or poorly ventilated areas. Good industrial hygiene practices should always be followed. This includes preventing eye contact and minimizing skin contact.   Empty containers can retain product residue so follow label warnings even after the container is empty.  Drums must not be washed out or used for other purposes. "Empty" drums should be completely drained, properly bunged, and promptly shipped to a drum reconditioner. All other containers should be disposed of in an environmentally safe manner and in accordance with governmental regulations.  Do not pressurize, cut, weld, braze, solder, grind, or expose empty pails or drums to heat, flame, sparks, or other sources of ignition; they may explode and can cause injury or death.
